About the author

In 2023, Dickie founded Defiance Strategy, a career consultancy, specializing in getting mid-to-senior level executives back to work quicker using his networking funnel approach. Educated at Ampleforth, and the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Dickie is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Accountants and holds an MBA from IMD, Switzerland.

Born in Britain, he lives in Switzerland with his partner Cherie and their five children. He has lived and worked in Germany, Qatar, the US and Africa.
